FER was founded in 2016 by Drew University alumnus Saif Yasin, with the goal of filling a gap in access to scientific learning for middle-school students in New Jersey. 

We have hosted annual events and mentorship, including virtual events in 2020 and 2021. FER currently welcomes participation of any middle school student in 5th thru 8th grade, studying in NJ, NY, or MD.
